About Samantha
For more than 25 years, I've worked with people through change, in employment services, leadership, classrooms, training rooms and private practice.

And one thing has kept me curious all these years:
What actually helps people change?
Not just understand something differently. Not just feel motivated for a few days. But really shift something that has been getting in the way.
Over the years, I've seen that knowing what to do and being able to do it are not always the same thing. Stress, habits, beliefs and automatic responses can have a lot more influence than we realize.
That curiosity is what eventually led me deeper into behaviour change, NLP, hypnosis and the subconscious mind.
Today, I bring all of those worlds together.

I'm not interested in making change more complicated than it needs to be.
Sometimes what helps is practical: a clearer conversation, a better tool, a different way of looking at something, or one small shift that makes the next step easier.
Other times, the thing keeping a pattern in place is happening below the level of conscious thought. That is where hypnosis, NLP and deeper behaviour-change work can be useful.
My approach brings both together.
With individuals, that may mean working with stress, overwhelm, confidence, habits, procrastination, identity or a change they are ready to make.
With workplaces, it may mean helping people communicate more effectively, manage pressure, reduce unproductive busyness, strengthen motivation or create more meaningful movement with the people they serve.
Different setting. Same question:
What is really getting in the way, and what would create a meaningful shift?

I created Simple Wellness because I believe change can be powerful without becoming overwhelming.
I like things that are useful. I like tools people can actually remember and use. I like getting underneath the obvious question and finding the part that actually matters.
I also believe serious work does not always have to feel serious.
There is room for curiosity, honesty, perspective and humour in the same conversation.
That is probably why my work can move from a corporate training room to a private hypnosis session and still feel connected. In both places, I am interested in the same thing: helping people understand what is happening, shift what is no longer helping, and move forward in a way that feels realistic.
That combination is very much Simple Wellness.

Before building Simple Wellness, I spent decades in employment services and leadership, supporting people through work, change, confidence, communication and uncertainty.
I have led teams, managed services, taught at Seneca College, facilitated corporate and not-for-profit training, worked with frontline professionals and leaders, served in governance, and supported private clients one-to-one.
Along the way, I became a Certified Board Hypnotherapist and Master NLP Practitioner, adding tools that allow me to work not only with what people consciously understand, but also with the automatic patterns and responses underneath it.
Today, all of that experience comes together in one place.
Practical change. Deeper change. Simple shifts that can make a meaningful difference.

My story, in short
I came to this work the long way.
Through my own hardest season of burnout, loss, and quietly falling apart while looking like I had it all together, I learned that lasting change does not come from pushing harder. It comes from working underneath the surface, where the patterns actually live. That season changed the entire direction of my life.

My approach
Most approaches work on the surface. This one does not.

Who I help
If you have tried everything and still feel stuck, you are exactly who this is for.

What becomes possible
What people notice over time:
I am curious by nature. I ask a lot of questions. I notice patterns. And I genuinely enjoy taking something that feels complicated and finding a simpler way through it.
I am also willing to talk about the things people sometimes dance around.
Sometimes that is stress, burnout, identity or the patterns we keep repeating. And sometimes it means writing a book called What If You Had Diarrhea? because life is real, people are human, and calm matters most when things feel urgent.
If I had to describe the way I work, I would say it is thoughtful, practical, direct and human.
